Who am I?
I am a Clinical Psychologist in part-time private practice in Krugersdorp, West Rand.
I have undergone training that focused on systems theory. Hence, the focus of therapy is dealing with client’s difficulties by addressing the interactional conflicts and stressors between the clients, significant others and their environment. However, I utilize a range of therapeutic modalities in order to suit the needs of clients. I offer a safe and non-judgemental therapeutic context where clients can express themselves.
The main aim is to promote Psychological wellbeing.

PRIVATE PRACTICE
In private practice, I work with children, adults, couples and families experiencing Psychological difficulties. These include (but are not limited to): Mood disorders (e.g. depression) and Anxiety disorders, Relationship problems, Personality Disorders, Anger Management, Bereavement, Trauma, Adjustment problems, behavioural problems, coping with illness, Substance related disorders, Stress management and more. I also offer Psychological services to inpatients at RH Bell Clinic on a sessional basis. I was also a sessional Psychologist at Akeso Clinic, Parktown May 2019-March 2020.

WORK EXPERIENCE
I completed my Internship at Weskoppies Psychiatric Hospital in 2013. Thereafter, I worked at a private practice at Louis Pasteur Hospital; the focus was on conducting therapy and medical-legal assessments. I completed my Community Service at the Department of Correctional Services at Zonderwater Correctional Centre in 2015, where I worked mainly with male offenders. I thereafter worked at the Department of Correctional Services in Krugersdorp, where I worked with male offenders (2016-2021) . My role included conducting individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy and risk assessments. I am currently employed at the Department of Health, West rand District (2021-current). I mainly provide Psychological Services to the Community, within the Clinic Setting.
